PHOTOGRAPHY
Lucy has a B. A. in Media with an emphasis in Video Production from Webster University. She is also a photographer specializing in infrared black and white photography. She has had many exhibits around St. Louis for the past 20 years. She has won awards and been picked for many juried shows (see list below).
Lucy frequently shoots with infrared black and white film. This gives the photos a mystical, surreal quality. It’s a different way of seeing things that evokes an emotional or peaceful response. Lucy has been a photographer since 1983. She had her own darkroom for many years doing her own developing, printing, matting, and framing.
She has a large inventory of photos from her travels to Hawaii, Germany, New Mexico, Sedona, and elsewhere as well as many photos of Missouri Botanical Garden, pigs with the St. Louis arch as a background (genuine), and cows among cars.
